LED Controller for R/C Cars and Trucks
Compatible with all R/C cars and trucks . Can control 9 sets of LED lights : high beam , low beam , fog light , parking light , reverse light , brake light , turn flashing lights left and right , beacon flashing light and sound for reverse . Can switch on hazard lights ( turn on signal lights left and right at the same time ) when joystick for left and right is at one of the left or right limit for at least 10 seconds and the joystick for forward and backward is in the zero position ( middle ) , and to switch it off is the same operation .
Controller has 6 inputs from the receiver . Firs 4 of them can replace an Y servo cable , just plug a simple female to female 3 pin servo cable from receiver to controller and plug the servo in the controller .
Connectors from receiver and to servo must be plug in with the signal cable to the inside of the controller . Power supply for controller is taken from receiver via any servo cable connected strait to receiver .
Inputs to controller are being counted from right to left :
First 4 inputs are doubles and are on the same line : ch1 - left/right , ch2 - forward/backward , ch3 - fog , ch4 - high beam .
Last 2 inputs on a lower line an don't have output for servo : ch5 - beacon flash light , ch6 - parking light
The controller has 9 outputs for LED's with 2pin PH connectors 2mm pitch .
Each output can drive 4 LEDs .
Parking light output can be updated to drive more LEDs , if the existing two way splitter is replaced with one with more outputs , each output must have one resistor of 80 - 100 ohms / minimum 250 mW . Total current should not excede 800 mA for this output .
Power supply for controller should be 4 to 6 volt dc .
Dimensions 60 x 35 x 20 mm .
